We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team at Essential Results Limited, based in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong electronics knowledge and mechanical skills to work on market-leading products in the Prototype market.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for working from assembly drawings, building packs, carrying out fault diagnosis to component level, testing and diagnosing customer products to company and industry standards, soldering conventional components, pre-forming, inserting and cropping component leads using hand tools such as cutters and pliers, and hand placing surface mount components using SMT soldering.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in electronics assembly, test and repair, with a strong electronics and mechanical knowledge base.
  • Familiarity with hand tools used in electronics build, diagnostics, repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and customer support.
  • A relevant qualification as a technician or an engineer in electronics or a related field.

This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
