CastleView Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including order picking, inventory management, and loading/unloading vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using MHE equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Vehicle Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload vehicles with products, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Uniform and PPE: Wear company-issued uniform and personal protective equipment at all times while on duty.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require physical stamina, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Shifts and Compensation:

CastleView Group offers a competitive compensation package, including a basic rate of £12.48 per hour and a premium night rate of £14.27 per hour from 6PM to 6AM. Additionally, you will be eligible for a generous bonus scheme paid on a weekly basis, based on performance.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time Warehouse Operatives work a variety of shifts, including 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 2pm-10pm, and 6pm-2am.
  • Shifts may vary, and flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.
  • Typical hours are 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
