Support Role in Early Years

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to support the teaching and learning of students in the Early Years class. As a full-time member of our team, you will work closely with the Early Years Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Early Years Teacher to develop and implement lesson plans, tailoring them to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to observations and assessments, informing teaching strategies and promoting student progress.
  • Respond effectively to challenging behavior, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all pupils.
  • Encourage active participation from students, promoting their involvement in learning and extracurricular activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and school policies, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils at all times.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in practice.
  • Proven experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • The Right to Work in the UK.
  • Two professional references within the last two years.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is between £22,000 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy free parking, a health-care scheme, and access to a canteen. You will also have the opportunity to refer friends and earn £75 for Nursery/TA & £125 Qualified Teacher.
