About the Role
At Sunbelt Rentals Careers, we're on a mission to deliver a world-class experience in the rental of temporary building systems. As a Cabin Fitter, you'll play a crucial part in helping us achieve our vision.
You'll be working as part of our Accommodation specialist team, which specializes in providing a wide range of temporary accommodation solutions to meet diverse requirements. From anti-vandal 'green specification' accommodation to sleeper units, portable toilets, and containers, we've got everything your clients need for construction sites and events.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve maintaining, repairing, and preparing our portable accommodation units for hire. You'll be working under the guidance of an experienced foreman, ensuring that all units are prepared to the highest standard for our clients. Depending on the specific role, you may work fully in our depot or a mix of depot and site-based works.

To succeed as a Cabin Fitter, you'll need to bring the following skills and behaviors:
- Basic joinery and plumbing skills to prepare our portable accommodation units for hire.
- Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
- Flexibility and self-motivation, with a keenness to embrace new training opportunities.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to ensure all works are completed to a high standard within a tight timescale.
- Driving license essential.
- CSCS card for working on site (desirable).
- Painting and decorating experience (desirable).
- Property maintenance experience (desirable).
