About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Rock and Pop Music Educator to join our team at iRock School of Music in Guildford. As a Band Coach, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and fun rock and pop band sessions to children across multiple primary schools in the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality rock and pop band sessions to groups of children, promoting musical growth and confidence.
  • Teach multiple instruments, including drums, keyboard, guitar, and vocals, within a band setting.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and the community, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Guide students as they prepare for and perform in live shows, promoting performance skills and stage presence.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including daily reporting and student certification, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in summer camps and holiday programs, providing additional musical experiences for students.
Requirements
  • Musical proficiency in at least two instruments, with strong overall music knowledge.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, essential for traveling between schools.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage schedules and tasks efficiently.
