Job Summary

As a CNC Toolmaker, you will be responsible for producing precision tools, fixtures, and components using CNC machinery. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce high-quality precision tools and components.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure exact measurements and tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize tooling solutions and ensure product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to maintain optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Requirements

We require a proven experience as a CNC Toolmaker or in a similar CNC machining role. Strong proficiency with CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls) is essential.

You should have an excellent understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Ability to work with various materials, including metals, plastics, and composites, is also required.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
