Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Hartford Care. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing stimulating and meaningful activities that cater to their individual skills, hobbies, and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver a range of physical, social, emotional, and psychological activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and care staff to understand individual needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain a varied activity program that includes arts and crafts, chair exercises, reminiscence sessions, and other engaging activities.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to help them participate in activities and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the needs of residents with varying abilities and needs.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience is required, as we provide full training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
