About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Bolt-On Recruitment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and setting CNC Lathes to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications and engineering drawings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Program and set CNC Lathes to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Monitor the Turning cell operations to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of machines, tools, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other relevant departments to address technical issues and improve processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining problems.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including production records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the Turning cell.

Requirements:

• Experience in CNC Turning and programming.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
