Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a diverse range of diagnostic MR procedures for both adults and paediatric patients in outpatient, inpatient, and major trauma settings.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including a state-of-the-art Signa GE Artist 1.5T scanner.
As a key member of the Imaging team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.
Main Responsibilities- To assist in the provision of an efficient MRI service, working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- To maintain a safe and effective working environment within the MRI department, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- To develop and improve professional expertise through continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- To work as part of a professional radiography team providing a high-quality diagnostic service, utilizing strong communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues alike.
- To maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient data, adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Honours degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Post-graduate study in a relevant field, such as Cross-sectional Imaging.
- At least 3 years' post-graduation experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to make prompt decisions based on knowledge, experience, and circumstances, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
