Office Manager/Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our small, friendly team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, bookkeeping, and financial assistance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance & Operations Manager, CEO, and Support Centre
  • Assist with daily bookkeeping in Xero, including credit control and collection of overdue debt
  • Prepare and manage quarterly VAT Returns and liaise with the Company Accountant
  • Set up and maintain customer contracts, coordinate courier and postal services, and order supplier goods and office equipment
  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders, create Mileage and Expense Claims, and manage renewals for Office Insurance and Utilities
  • Liaise with Supplier/Customer Accounts Department and update Social Media content

Requirements:

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to respond effectively to correspondence and documents
  • Experience of office administration, Xero accounts, and Microsoft packages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Good business acumen and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information

Working Environment:

We operate from a modern office in Bracknell with free onsite parking and easy access to the town centre. Applicants will ideally live within 30 minutes commute of our Bracknell office.
