About the Role

Sellick Partnership is seeking a highly experienced Senior Lawyer to join our client's Safeguarding team in Merseyside.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive to enhance our busy but friendly in-house Safeguarding team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling a caseload of complex adult social care matters, including Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act cases.
  • Providing expert advice on adult social care matters, including handling complex cases and advising on matters such as Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act.
  • Working closely with the Safeguarding team to ensure effective delivery of adult social care services.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including courts, barristers, professional bodies, and members of the public.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in dealing with adult social care matters, including Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act cases.
  • Excellent technical skills and a good level of experience in dealing with adult social care matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver complex advice clearly and communicate effectively with officers internally and externally.
