About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEMH secondary school in Redditch. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of students with challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting
  • Delivering the national curriculum in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Providing individualized support to students with challenging behaviours
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting
  • Good communication and behaviour management skills
  • Calm, patient, and caring persona
