The Role Overview: Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a pipeline of new business opportunities, identifying relevant prospects through market research and cold calling, creating tailored commercial offerings, and actively managing the sales process from lead generation to close and handover. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with our operational and account management teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs at agreed profit levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to ensure accurate capture of sales leads.
  • Create and present customized commercial offerings to potential clients.
  • Actively manage the sales process, including lead generation, sales presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Work closely with existing operational and account management teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs at agreed profit levels.

Requirements:
  • Experience in developing, managing, and implementing new business services.
  • Strong understanding of market research and commercial offerings.
  • Confident use of business software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A network of business contacts and ability to conduct market research effectively.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
