Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the Transaction Monitoring department for the UK entity, creating and leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Develop and execute a vision for the team, aligning with the company's larger growth and compliance goals.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, ensuring the team meets both strategic and operational objectives.
  • Closely collaborate with operations and quality assurance teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on UK financial crime regulations, applying them proactively to mitigate evolving risks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain effective monitoring controls.
  • Work with the Second Line of Defence to turn policy decisions into daily operational success.
  • Coach and mentor your team, providing regular feedback and fostering growth in technical skills and leadership.

You will be responsible for balancing dual objectives: delivering exceptional customer service and managing financial crime risks, while maintaining adherence to SLAs.
