We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team as a Ward Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (Adult) with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to take on a leadership role.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the ward/department, ensuring the provision of excellent nursing care and effective management of staff and other resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • To support and deputise for the Senior Management Team, to ensure the effective running of the ward/department.
  • To carry out the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the ward/department, including leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • To develop and implement policies, procedures and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues at all levels.
