About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Beverley. The successful candidate will provide support to a profoundly disabled young lady, enabling her to access social activities and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to the young person, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Accompany the young person on outings to social activities, cafes, and community events.
  • Support the young person in making decisions about her daily life, including meal choices and activities.
  • Administer Buccal Midazolam as required and provide seizure support.
  • Work collaboratively with other carers to ensure the young person's needs are met.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with profoundly disabled adults.
  • Relevant qualifications and training, including epilepsy training and Buccal Midazolam administration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
