Job Title: SENCO Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our team at Axcis Education Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing the provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) within our school.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to support pupils with SEND.
  2. Coordinate provision for pupils with SEND by working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals.
  3. Liaise with parents and guardians of pupils with SEND, ensuring they are involved in decisions about their child's education.
  4. Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff in the planning and delivery of high-quality, inclusive teaching practices.

Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working as a SENCO or in a similar capacity within a primary school setting.
  2. Thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and experience with EHCP processes.
  3. A hands-on, empathetic approach to working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
