Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service Technician to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a Gas Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances and heating systems in domestic and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repairing leaks in copper and plastic pipework, and waste pipes
  • Installing and repairing radiators
  • Managing hot and cold water systems
  • Working with unvented hot water systems
  • Performing 1st and 2nd fix installations for kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems
  • Conducting power flushing
  • Handling boiler breakdowns, installations, and servicing

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license (up to 3 points acceptable)
  • ACS qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
  • Unvented G3 qualification (desirable)
  • CSCS Skilled Trade Card (desirable)
  • Asbestos awareness certification
  • CKR1, HTR1, CCN1, CENWAT
  • 3 years breakdown experience (On your own)
  • Clean DBS (Dependant on severity)
  • Valid DBS certificate
  • Two references from previous employers
