About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Choice Based Lettings Advisor. As a key member of our Housing team, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer care and supporting residents in need of housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify housing register applications from residents of Cheshire West
  • Provide one-to-one support to customers requiring assistance with West Cheshire Homes applications or bidding activity
  • Answer enquiries relating to West Cheshire Homes/Housing Allocations policy and individual applications
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a proactive service to customers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using IT systems to input and manage customer information
  • Knowledge of housing/homelessness policies and statutory responsibilities
