Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Services Engineer to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical maintenance and repair services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys to identify electrical system requirements
  • Develop and implement electrical installation plans and technical diagrams
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with national safety standards and regulations
  • Supervise electrical system installations and provide technical expertise to installation teams
  • Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's manuals to complete projects
  • Complete work orders and record materials used
  • Identify and repair electrical problems
  • Advise management on replacing aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards
  • Conduct general electrical system maintenance and troubleshoot issues with testing equipment

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • C&G 2382 - BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulation (Current Edition)
  • C&G 2391 Test & Inspection (Current Edition)
  • External Low Voltage Authorized Persons Qualification
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • First Aid (including Resuscitation)
  • Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing
  • Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
  • Experience working within FM or building services in commercial properties
  • Experience working under strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements
