Job Title: Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Join our team as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and take on a challenging and rewarding role in our Mental Health Services.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering an evidence-based SLT service to meet the needs of our complex client group within an in-patient setting.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service that addresses the communication and swallowing needs of our patients. You will also be responsible for supervising an SLT (Band 5 equivalent) providing input to Adarna Ward.

About the Team:

Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our patients. We have a national network of over 50 SLTs in the Cygnet Healthcare group, working in different specialisms including LD and ASD, CAMHS, Older Adults Mental Health, Neuropsychiatry and Social Care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and have experience in the field of adult mental health and/or ASD.

You will also need to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
