About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our client's dedicated care team in their beautiful 36-bedded residential care home. The home specializes in elderly and dementia care, with a strong focus on person-centered care and delivering the highest standards of care.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a nursing or residential home, with a strong work ethic and leadership skills. They will be responsible for supervising and participating in the delivery of care to residents, working collaboratively with a team of carers and other seniors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
  • Provide leadership and support to the care staff
  • Administer medication
  • Promote the dignity and independence of residents
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a nursing or residential home
  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Support Worker
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
  • Medication trained
