Thrive Group Oldham is seeking a skilled HGV Refuse Driver to join their team in the Oldham area. As a key member of the crew, you will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient refuse collection service, including recycling collection activities, in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Operate the power mechanism and ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
  • Supervise duties and lead the crew with a high level of professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care is maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Class 2 HGV Licence (CAT C) and CPC.
  • Knowledge of current transport regulations.
  • Ability to demonstrate a polite and friendly manner at all times.
  • Ability to drive in all weather conditions.
  • Previous waste/refuse experience preferred, but not essential - training will be provided.
