Job Title: Security Officer

Job Summary:

DCA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access control and management of authorized personnel
  • Issuing and managing access passes
  • Receiving and processing deliveries
  • Directing contractors and visitors
  • Conducting regular internal and external patrols
  • Managing access to the site and ensuring compliance with access control procedures
  • Recording incidents and completing relevant logs

Requirements:

  • Current valid SIA license
  • Experience in the security industry, particularly with alarm and BSM systems
  • Computer literacy and technical awareness
  • Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle (preferably)
  • Living close to the Guildford area (20-mile maximum)
  • High standard of customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a 5-year verifiable work history

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a corporate, Critical National Infrastructure, Police, or Military environment

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. The role will involve working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
