Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" primary school in Sutton.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a popular 2-form entry mainstream primary school that is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children with mixed abilities, including communication and interaction difficulties, and cognitive disorders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and will be confident in creating and leading intervention sessions for SEN groups.

The role involves working 1:1 with an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, and monitoring pupils' progress.

Requirements:
  • Experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
  • Good understanding of supporting children with autism
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks required
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
