About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of high-quality structural input to major projects and programmes across our extensive portfolio of water frameworks.

As a senior member of our team, you will provide mentoring and guidance to more junior team members, helping them develop their careers and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of structural input to major projects and programmes
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
  • Develop and maintain our structural knowledge and capability
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver solutions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in structural design for concrete, steel, and masonry structures
  • Ability to carry out structural inspections and produce concise reports
  • Good knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering
  • Experience working with structural engineering software such as Tedds Staad.PRO, Robot Structures, or similar FEM analysis software
  • Experience working within a 3D design environment
