Housing Care Professional

Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives and work in a caring profession? As a Care Worker with Housing 21, you'll be part of a dedicated team that supports our residents to live independently in their own homes.
We offer a competitive salary of £22,959 per annum (based on working 35 hours per week), paid by the hour at £12.58 per hour. You'll also receive a range of benefits, including Holiday Pay, Occupational Sick Pay, Occupational Maternity Pay, Health Cash Plan, Blue Light Card, Car Lease Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, Uniform provided, Employee Assistance Programme, and 50p hourly enhancement for all Level 2 qualifications.
As a Care Worker, you'll work closely with our residents to understand their needs and preferences. You'll support with daily tasks, such as household and domestic chores, and provide personal care, including washing, bathing, and dressing. You may also assist residents with getting up in the morning and helping them with undressing and going to bed in the evening.

We offer opportunities for learning and development through our Extra Care Academy, which provides support and training to progress into management roles. Many of our Managers and Assistant Managers started out as Care Workers in our schemes.
