Supplier Quality Engineer

Platform Recruitment is working with an electronics company based in Swindon to find a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate product defects and non-conformities, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier evaluations, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Perform QA control tests, including visual checks, on products and ASICs.
Requirements:
  • BSc in a STEM subject (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar quality role.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and standards (ISO/TS 16949 and VDA6).
  • Strong skills in analysing and interpreting data sets.
  • Experienced with MS Office.
