About the Role

Gilbert Meher Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Commissioning Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an independent healthcare organisation that delivers exceptional quality of care to highly dependent adults and children in the comfort and security of their own home.

The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for conducting, managing, and overseeing the generation of new and existing relationships to bring on relevant complex care packages for the organisation.

  • Conduct structured business development to generate new packaging recommendations.
  • Work closely with the quality and operations team to ensure seamless delivery of care packages.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential commissioners.
  • Project manage the mobilisation of awarded packages, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to ensure effective stakeholder management and referral process.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Business Development/Account Management/Sales, preferably in the healthcare sector. They will possess excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work with minimum supervision. A full driving licence is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including commissioners and operational teams.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage the mobilisation of awarded packages, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
    • Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to ensure effective stakeholder management and referral process.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential commissioners.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with operational and clinical teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of Business Development/Account Management/Sales, preferably in the healthcare sector.
