Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Learning Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Learning Director of Maths in leading the Maths department and contributing to the development of the school's curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Learning Director of Maths in leading the Maths department and contributing to the development of the school's curriculum.
- Work closely with the Maths Hub to implement a Mastery Curriculum from year 7.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes in Maths, particularly at Key Stage 4.
- Collaborate with teachers to refine and improve their teaching practices.
- Contribute to the development of the school's academic policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading a Maths department or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
