Senior Podiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Podiatrist to join our Community Podiatry Team in Dorchester, with the requirement to travel to other locations within West Dorset. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality podiatry services to patients with complex health backgrounds, including those with diabetes, rheumatoid conditions, and other high-risk foot conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage high-risk podiatric care, including ulcer management, for patients with a wide range of clinical needs.
  • Provide education and health promotion to patients and the wider community.
  • Deliver person-centred care, prioritizing patient safety, privacy, and dignity.
  • Offer specialist advice to colleagues on the management and care of patients/service users.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to students, apprentices, and trained practitioners.
Requirements
  • Registered practitioner with degree/diploma level qualifications and post-registration specialist training.
  • Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
  • Recent experience in a comparable role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Attendance of biomechanics specific training.
