We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practice Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accountancy practice, you will be responsible for delivering client-focused and commercially aware services efficiently and professionally, adhering to relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a client portfolio starting at £500K+, which will grow over time, and handle multiple assignments with agreed deadlines in collaboration with Partners.
- Oversee the entire audit process, including planning, client liaison, review, and completion, ensuring all client compliance deadlines are met for Companies House and HMRC, minimising Partner review time.
- Address client queries and coordinate with specialist teams across the firm for additional advice and projects, including HR, Corporate Tax, Payroll, Legal, and Restructuring.
- Assist overseas entities with their UK setup and compliance needs, and manage work-in-progress processes, including fee agreements, billing, and debt collection.
- Act as a training manager and mentor to allocated trainees, and collaborate with the manager team to oversee the performance, wellbeing, and productivity of the wider team.
- Help motivate staff, address issues informally, and escalate serious matters to HR as needed, and provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to staff promptly.
- Develop and present training materials on various topics to trainees, and participate in practice development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, and assist in preparing and presenting new client pitches.
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA, or international equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of auditing standards, UK accounting standards, and UK Corporation Tax compliance procedures.
- Client Focus: Commitment to exceptional client care and service.
- CPD: Dedication to continuing professional development and maintaining technical competence.

- Mentorship: Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

The client we are representing is offering a competitive remuneration package including:
- Salary: £60,000 + (Subject to applicants qualification and level of experience)
