We require psychiatry specialty doctors interested in acting as expert witnesses in civil, criminal, and family court settings.

This role involves conducting independent expert witness evaluations within legal contexts. Our experts frequently receive commissions to assess clients presenting various conditions and to provide diagnoses and treatment suggestions aiding the Court's decision-making process.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out thorough medical assessments and evaluations
  • Producing high-quality expert witness reports
  • Working with the legal team to discuss findings and reports
  • Attending court to provide testimony

This opportunity is suitable for Consultants Psychiatrist or Paediatricians, specialty doctors in Psychiatry or Paediatrics or higher trainee Psychiatrists/Paediatricians seeking part-time employment. Comprehensive training will be provided for those without prior expert witness experience.

Applicants should have experience working with patients, including adults, children, and families, or in forensic environments.

Candidates must possess GMC registration and Section 12 approval.
