Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Veetee. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory by resolving breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain the necessary skills to efficiently carry out all maintenance tasks, ensuring work is carried out to the highest possible standard.
  2. Contribute to and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
  3. Work effectively as part of a response team on breakdowns and/or emergency repairs, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to production.
  4. Ensure daily checks are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner, completing all necessary documentation.
  5. Ensure all works carried out are compliant with Health and Safety requirements, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  6. Enter maintenance activities on work request forms as required, maintaining accurate records.
  7. Assist in the training of others and identify own training needs, ensuring continuous professional development.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.
Requirements:
  1. Working knowledge of PLC systems and experience in providing engineering support on production and packing lines.
  2. Previous experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is desirable, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  3. Electrical and Mechanical qualifications are essential, with the ability to follow instructions and use own initiative.
  4. Excellent health and safety awareness, with experience in installations, breakdowns, and planned maintenance.
  5. Competent in report writing, with the ability to work unsupervised and flexibility to do the hours required for the role.
Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off days and nights, ensuring a fair and manageable work-life balance.
