We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Communications and Engagement Officer to join our Public Health team. This individual will possess a strategic overview of the communications and engagement activities of the Public Health team and partner organizations. They will develop, deliver, and evaluate impactful public health campaigns and targeted communication projects to support the stop smoking team, as well as various other public health initiatives and priorities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing networks and relationships with wider council teams, local NHS services, Voluntary Care Services (VCS), Health Ambassadors, Health Champions, and numerous partner organizations. This will enable effective partnership working and maximize opportunities for the benefit of Barnet's Public Health programs.

Key responsibilities include attending community-based events, planning, and delivering engagement projects, including consultations and focus groups. If you have experience in delivering evidence-based communications projects and campaigns, producing engaging written and visual content, and working with diverse audiences, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

We offer a competitive salary of £41,442 to £45,510 per annum, 31 days annual leave, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, and a range of lifestyle discounts.
