About the Role

We are seeking a Sunday Sales Assistant to join our team in our Witham store. As a Sunday Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a quality retail service, managing stock, displaying goods, and maintaining the appearance of the shop. You will also be responsible for maximising sales and promoting Gift Aid to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a welcoming environment for customers
  • Manage stock, including receiving, storing, and displaying goods
  • Maintain the appearance of the shop, including cleaning and tidying
  • Maximise sales and promote Gift Aid to customers
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Literate and numerate
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations
  • Previous experience of working or managing a retail shop is an advantage
