About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Manager to join our team at Computacenter (UK) Limited. This role involves collaborating with writers, editors, and other team members to maintain high standards of quality and precision in all published materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content editing and quality assurance: proofread and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style consistency; ensure tone, clarity, and flow of written materials; maintain and enforce adherence to house style guides and editorial standards; identify and correct inconsistencies and errors in content; fully translate certain document types which cannot be machine translated.
  • Collaboration: work closely with writers and other editors to refine and improve content; provide constructive feedback to writers to enhance the quality of their work; manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively; maintain organized records of edited content and revisions; help the team manage the processes around translation and review.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in French
  • Proven experience as a copy editor or similar editorial role
  • Strong portfolio of edited written work
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for errors
  • Ability to learn about the language from new areas, technologies or industries
  • Proficiency in using editorial and proofreading tools (e.g., Microsoft suite, Grammarly)
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
