Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including tracheostomy, ventilation, and seizure management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including tracheostomy, ventilation, and seizure management.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the clinical team.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals and their families.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in childcare with tracheostomy, peg feeding, ventilation, and suctioning is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
