We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Hastings, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management review.
- Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring financial stability and compliance with regulations.
- Manage end-of-period and year-end financial processes, including audits and reconciliation.
- Promote best practices in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Cultivate strong relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
- Provide expert financial guidance to senior management on strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a UK-based organization.
- Exceptional understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, with ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with relevant certifications (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) preferred.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
