Job Title: Computer Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Scientist to join our team at the Evangelical High Church Council. As a key member of our Business Continuity Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business continuity management plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with specialist departments to introduce new procedures and systems
  • Design and implement business continuity and recovery plans, including regular testing and emergency exercises
  • Provide expert advice on setting up and maintaining an organization-wide emergency management system
  • Work closely with the information security management team and IT administrators to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Administrative Sciences with a focus on Computer Science
  • Knowledge of ITIL Foundation
  • Experience in information security and emergency management
  • Current knowledge/experience in Windows server and network administration
