Job Duties:- Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher, ensuring students receive tailored support to meet their needs.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students, maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere.
- Support students with personal care needs if required, prioritising their dignity and well-being.
- Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting, demonstrating a commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, including knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure student success.
Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting, with a focus on providing high-quality support and guidance.Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions, including behaviour management and personal care support.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles and needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members, prioritising student needs and well-being.
- Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of SEN support, such as autism or physical disability.
- Experience working with a range of SEN conditions, including ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
- Temporary position with full-time hours, with the possibility of permanent employment in the future.
- Work within a school environment, with a focus on providing high-quality support and guidance to students.
- May involve assisting with personal care needs of students, prioritising their dignity and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
