The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring children to enjoy learning and encouraging them to take pride in their achievements. They will bring enthusiasm and a positive approach to their role, adapting teaching support skills to suit the needs of children with SEND.

This is a part-time position, approximately 31 hours per week, during term time only. The successful candidate will be based primarily in Year 6 until the summer, and then dependent on the needs of pupils. We offer ongoing training and support, as well as access to employee benefits, including a cycle to work scheme and Health Assured EAP scheme.

We welcome applicants with experience of supporting children with SEND and who share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All necessary safeguarding checks will be undertaken, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support small groups of pupils and individuals in Year 6
