Job Description
We're seeking a passionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Cwtch Mawr Rumney. As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in shaping a positive, collaborative atmosphere where everyone thrives. You'll lead and inspire a team of support workers, developing life-changing skills and relationships, all while enjoying a rewarding career that grows with you.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of dedicated support workers, fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
- Deliver Person-Centred Care: Provide high-quality, individualised support for young people with autism and other complex needs.
- Empower Growth: Assist in creating personalised care plans and promoting independence, life skills, and resilience for each individual.
- Ensure Safety and Well-Being: Maintain a safe, nurturing environment where individuals feel valued, supported, and encouraged.
- Build Strong Connections: Work closely with families, guardians, and external professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care.
- Support Management: Assist with administrative tasks, staff training, and development, contributing to a well-run and supportive team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You bring experience in a support worker role within care or education settings and are ready to take on a senior role. You have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. You're passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs and empowering them to thrive. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
