Our Home is staffed with caring adults who work together and have a therapeutic ethos centred around developing sustainable success for the futures of our young people.
Job Overview:
- Lead the opening of a brand-new home supporting young people with EBD.
- Prioritize the welfare of young people above all else.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for further education and career advancement for young residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a Nurturing Environment: Create a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow and develop their potential.
- Provide Effective Leadership: Guide and supervise staff members to promote professional growth and development.
- Communicate Effectively: Engage with residents and staff to address needs and concerns.
Requirements:
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (to be obtained within 3 years of starting to manage the children's home).
- Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year experience of line management/staff supervision of staff in a care role, management in a relevant residential care setting.
