Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Plant & Fleet Transport Operations team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining plant vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and service repair activities on plant vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete accurate work records via a PDA device.
  • Undertake minor and major repair works as required.
  • Communicate effectively with the workshop team to ensure seamless operation.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to SHEQ policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified plant technician (NVQ2 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience of working on plant vehicles and equipment.
  • Competent use of company IT and diagnostic tooling.
  • Valid driving licence - essential.
  • Forklift licence - training will be provided.
  • General plant electrics knowledge is desirable.
