Bookkeeper Opportunity with TPF Recruitment

TPF Recruitment, a leading provider of accountancy practice professionals, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their friendly and growing team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for various clients.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Process payroll.
  • Handle general bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with clients to address and resolve queries.
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach.
Benefits:
  • Competitive starting salary of £25,000 - £32,000, subject to experience.
