Job Title: Chef and Team Leader in Care Homes
We are currently seeking a skilled Chef and Team Leader to join our team. As a Chef and Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will work with fresh seasonal food and have the chance to make what you do matter.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified chef with experience in helping lead and inspire a team. You will have a good understanding of nutrition and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home. You will also have experience of working with fresh seasonal food and a good understanding of HACCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
- Work fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest quality and standards
- Help create a warm, efficient, and fun environment
- Work within budget
- Complete regular audits
- Manage stock control
- To assist in leading and motivating a team
