To deliver high-quality training programs and assessments that meet the required quality standards. The successful candidate will support learners in achieving the Diploma and full L3 Apprenticeship standard of Senior Healthcare Support Worker. This role requires excellent communication and coaching skills to provide constructive, professional, and relevant feedback to learners.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Arrange visits/contact with learners and line managers to induct, observe, and progress learners in the workplace
* Assess the work of learners in the virtual classroom or workplace within set timeframes and achieve targets set by management
* Provide feedback to learners in relation to their qualification
* Observe learners in the workplace against criteria laid down by the awarding body and give feedback as appropriate
* Ensure own assessments are accurate and achieve verification
* Carry out reviews with learners and line managers, submitting paperwork within agreed timescales
* Ensure that own allocated learners are progressing in line with their target achievement dates and liaise with the Programme Manager for the purpose of monitoring the progress of qualification/standards achievement
* Maintain positive relations with learners, line managers, and all other stakeholders
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven IAG, coaching, and mentoring skills
* Experience of the Ofsted inspection framework
* Good IT skills
* Ability to work under own supervision
* Sector-specific qualification - minimum L3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare with clinical experience
* Demonstrated effective learner program management
* Good written skills that capture detailed feedback and target setting of objectives
