**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Specialist in Health and Social Care to join our academic team at UK Management College. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing educational programs in Health and Social Care, contributing to the institution's mission to provide high-quality education and research in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum Development
  • Design and deliver curricula for undergraduate students in Health and Social Care, incorporating industry best practices and research-based methodologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and quality standards.
  • Supervise student projects, internships, and field placements, guiding students in their academic and professional growth.
Student Assessment & Support
  • Develop and implement fair and transparent assessment methods, providing timely feedback to support student development and achievement.
  • Act as a personal tutor, supporting students academically and pastorally, connecting them to additional resources as needed.
Research & Scholarship
  • Engage in scholarly activities that contribute to the field of Health and Social Care, collaborating with colleagues on research projects.
  • Pursue funding for research initiatives and support knowledge exchange activities, advancing the field through publication and presentation of findings.
Networking & Partnerships
  • Establish and maintain links with health and social care providers for student placements, research, and community projects, enhancing opportunities for students and faculty alike.
  • Represent the institution in conferences and networks relevant to Health and Social Care education and research, promoting excellence and innovation in the field.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
