We are seeking a qualified solicitor/lawyer with previous experience in Actions Against the Police or Civil Liberties to join our Liverpool office on a full-time basis.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity to develop your career in a well-run firm, gaining exposure to complex, high-value Actions Against the Police claims.

You will handle your own caseload, including investigations, obtaining expert evidence, drafting Letters of Claim, settlement negotiations, drafting pleadings and litigating as appropriate.

Claims can vary in value but involve false imprisonment, assault/battery/excessive force, breach of human rights, malicious prosecution and discrimination claims.

Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor/lawyer with previous experience in Actions Against the Police or Civil Liberties
  • Handled own caseload of claims from cradle to grave
  • Excellent client-care and communication skills
